Medford is a diverse, historic, and thriving community of just under 60,000 residents from all over the globe. Medford is home to more than 300 acres of city maintained open spaces of all sizes and types, vibrant small business districts, a strong and supportive network of non-profit and community-focused organizations, and so much more.
In 2020, I convened a diverse Welcoming Committee of residents and business to design resident and business resource guides, and work to support new residents and businesses to the City of Medford. The Multilingual Resource Line offers menu options to leave messages for City staff in Arabic, English,HaitianCreole,Portuguese, or Spanish. Other languages not on the menu can be left in the English voicemail box. Calls will be returned within 24 hours in the language the call is received. The operating hours are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. Voicemails can be left 24 hours/7 days a week.
